The Reserva line from Habanos is traditionally characterized by the release of absolute classics made from specially aged tobaccos. Now it's the turn of Partagás Series E No.2 in the form of Gran Reserva, made from tobaccos harvested in 2015, still a relatively young format. Measuring 140 mm in length and with a ring gauge of 54, it reveals the best advantages of the Partagás series tobacco blend. For Habanos S.A., this was a sufficient reason to dedicate a Gran Reserva edition to this format. These exquisite cigars consist of carefully aged tobaccos from the 2015 harvest and are undoubtedly one of the most exclusive and extraordinary pleasures in the world of Habanos. It goes without saying that only the most experienced rollers are selected for crafting these masterpieces from the finest tobacco leaves at the factories. Only 5,000 boxes of 15 cigars each of this Gran Reserva edition have been released worldwide. Gran Reservas are aged for at least five years. The aged tobaccos for the filler, binder, and wrapper come from the finest Vegas Finas de Prima tobaccos from the Pinar del Río region. The Spanish word "cosecha" means "harvest" and indicates the year in which the tobacco leaves were used. A second black-and-gold band for the cigars is used to designate these cigars as "Gran Reserva." The noble boxes are coated with glossy black lacquer, highlighting the elegant appearance of the Gran Reserva cigars.
